G1 runs hotter, into heavier overdrive and distortion. Stack them for the pedal's most saturated sounds, or use either stage on its own. Active Bass and Treble controls with boost and cut let you shape the overall character, while MAGIC shifts the response toward the compressed, boxy behavior of a small amp pushed past its limits.
